Account Manager
DLP designs and manufactures private-label products and also serves as a full-service provider. After production and import, we keep these items in stock until the customer is ready to receive them. We do this in a state-of-the-art warehouse in the Port of Rotterdam.
We deliver these items on the agreed-upon date and time to any location throughout Europe. And we do all of this at very competitive rates.
In our studio, we design products, packaging, and designs according to the latest trends.
The Role: Your mark on our product range
As an account manager at DLP Industry, you’ll be the primary point of contact for our existing customers. You’ll maintain relationships with our customers’ buyers and identify business opportunities. By staying in regular contact with our customers and working with them to understand their needs, you’ll build long-term partnerships and drive further growth.
You're creative, know the market, and enjoy surprising customers with our latest products. You also keep an eye out for new opportunities with new and potential customers.
What will you be doing?
-
Customer Relationship Management: Maintaining and strengthening existing customer relationships through regular contact and in-person visits.
-
Account Development: Identifying commercial opportunities within existing accounts and converting them into new orders.
-
Product Presentation: Presenting new collections and advising on a suitable product range that meets the customer's needs.
-
Sales: Sell new products.
-
Limited acquisition: Identifying new opportunities in the market and pursuing them organically, often through existing contacts, trade shows, or referrals.
Who are you?
You’re a sales talent who thrives on building and maintaining long-term customer relationships. You’re a strong communicator, think in terms of solutions, and know how to build trust. You spot sales opportunities, but understand that long-term success starts with a strong relationship and selling products that fly off the shelves.
In addition, you have:
- Business acumen: You’re enthusiastic, presentable, and a natural conversationalist (smooth, yet always authentic).
- Perseverance: To you, a “no” is just the starting point of a conversation; you don’t give up easily.
- An eye for design: You have an eye for detail and understand what makes a gift item special.
- Entrepreneurship: You work independently, plan your own routes, and see opportunities to increase revenue everywhere.
- Language skills: Excellent command of Dutch (English is a plus).
- Level: Demonstrable college-level work and thinking skills.
What do we offer?
Working at DLP Industry means working in an enthusiastic team with excellent conditions:
- Financial: A competitive salary, a fully funded pension, 8% vacation pay, and a 13th month’s salary.
- Growth: Plenty of opportunity to further develop your commercial skills in a creative environment.
